Sharma began her career as a model, and later made her acting debut in the Hindi film industry with the romantic drama “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” in 2008, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
After her debut, Sharma appeared in several successful Bollywood films such as “Band Baaja Baaraat,” “PK,” “NH10,” “Sultan,” “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” and “Sanju.” She has won several awards for her performances, including the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for “Sultan.”
