He is the youngest brother of famous actors Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. Sanjay made his acting debut in 1995 with the film “Prem” opposite Tabu. Though the film did not perform well, he gained recognition with his next movie, “Raja” (1995), where he starred alongside Madhuri Dixit. The film was a commercial success, and his performance was appreciated.
