E.G. Daily, born Elizabeth Ann Guttman on September 11, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. She began her career in the 1980s, making a name for herself with roles in popular films such as Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985) and Valley Girl (1983). Her distinctive voice, however, is what brought her widespread recognition, particularly for voicing beloved animated characters.
Daily is best known for voicing Tommy Pickles in the hit animated series Rugrats, a role she continued for over a decade, as well as Buttercup in The Powerpuff Girls. She also voiced roles in Happy Feet, The Land Before Time, and other animated shows and films. In addition to acting, Daily pursued a music career, releasing albums like Wild Child (1985) and Tearing Down the Walls (1999).
