Ed McCaffrey is a former professional American football wide receiver, best known for his time in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants, and Denver Broncos. Born on August 17, 1968, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, McCaffrey played college football at Stanford University. He was selected by the Giants in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft.
