Jason Lee is an American actor, photographer, and skateboarder born on April 25, 1970, in Orange County, California. Initially gaining fame as a professional skateboarder in the early 1990s, Lee transitioned to acting, earning critical acclaim for his roles in both film and television.

Lee’s breakthrough role came in the 1995 film “Mallrats,” directed by Kevin Smith. He continued to collaborate with Smith, starring in “Chasing Amy” (1997) and “Dogma” (1999). Lee’s versatility as an actor was evident as he ventured into different genres, including the comedy “Almost Famous” (2000), where he portrayed a rock journalist.
