Katherine Waterston is an American actress born on March 3, 1980, in Westminster, London, England. She is the daughter of veteran actor Sam Waterston and former model Lynn Louisa Woodruff. Raised in a family deeply entrenched in the arts, Waterston pursued acting and made her film debut in 2007 with “Michael Clayton.” However, it was her role as Shasta Fay Hepworth in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Inherent Vice” (2014) that brought her critical acclaim and wider recognition.
