In 2013, Coutinho moved to the English Premier League club Liverpool, where he truly rose to prominence and became known for his skillful dribbling, creativity, and goal-scoring ability.
During his time at Liverpool, Coutinho played a crucial role in the team’s attacking play, forming a formidable partnership with fellow forwards such as Luis Suarez and Roberto Firmino. He won numerous individual awards and helped Liverpool reach the UEFA Europa League final in 2016.

On the international stage, Coutinho has represented the Brazilian national team since 2010. He has been a part of various Copa America and FIFA World Cup campaigns, winning the Copa America in 2019.
