Raised on the Dog Creek First Nations Reserve in Manitoba, Beach experienced personal tragedy at a young age, losing his mother in a car accident and his father shortly afterward. Beach’s acting career began in Canada with roles in television series like North of 60, which spotlighted Indigenous life.
