Alison Lohman is an American actress best known for her role in Sam Raimi’s horror film Drag Me to Hell (2009). Born on September 18, 1979, in Palm Springs, California, Lohman developed a passion for acting at a young age, performing in local theater productions. She attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts briefly before deciding to pursue acting full-time.
Lohman’s breakout role came in 2002 when she starred alongside Nicolas Cage in Matchstick Men, a critically acclaimed performance that garnered her recognition in Hollywood.
