Avan Jogia is a Canadian actor, writer, and musician known for his versatile roles in television and film. Born on February 9, 1992, in Vancouver, British Columbia, he is of British, Indian, and Irish descent. Jogia left high school at 16 to pursue acting, quickly landing roles in Canadian television before gaining recognition in Hollywood.
He rose to fame as Beck Oliver on Nickelodeon’s Victorious (2010–2013), where his laid-back charm and chemistry with co-stars made him a fan favorite. He later took on more mature roles, starring in Twisted (2013–2014) and Ghost Wars (2017–2018). Jogia has also appeared in films such as Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).
