Cesc Fàbregas is a retired Spanish professional football player who was born on May 4, 1987, in Arenys de Mar, Catalonia, Spain. He started his youth career at the age of 10 at CE Mataró, and later joined the famous La Masia academy of FC Barcelona.

He made his professional debut for Arsenal in 2003 at the age of 16, and became a key player for the club during his eight-year spell there, making over 300 appearances and winning the FA Cup in 2005. In 2011, he returned to his boyhood club FC Barcelona, where he won the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Super Cup in his first season.

Fàbregas then moved to Chelsea in 2014, where he helped the team win the Premier League title in his first season, and later won the FA Cup and the League Cup. He also played for Monaco and Al-Sadd SC before retiring in 2021.

Fàbregas was a key member of the Spanish national team, winning the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 and 2012 European Championships. He made 110 appearances for Spain and scored 15 goals, and was known for his creative passing, vision, and ability to control the midfield.
