Alexis Knapp, born on July 31, 1989, in Avonmore, Pennsylvania, is an American actress and singer. She was raised in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
Knapp began her career in modeling before transitioning into acting. She gained early attention with small roles in films such as Couples Retreat (2009) and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she starred as Stacie Conrad, the flirtatious singer, in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect.
She reprised the role in its sequels, Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) and Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), solidifying her status in Hollywood. She also appeared in the teen comedy Project X (2012) and the TV series Ground Floor. In 2011, Knapp gave birth to a daughter, Kailani, with actor Ryan Phillippe.
