Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley, born April 10, 1992, in London, England, is an English actress best known for her role as Rey in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. She studied at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, graduating in 2010.

Ridley began her acting career with appearances in British television series such as “Youngers,” “Silent Witness,” “Mr Selfridge,” and “Casualty.” In 2014, she was cast as Rey in “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” (2015), a role she reprised in “The Last Jedi” (2017) and “The Rise of Skywalker” (2019).
