Duncan Jones, born on May 30, 1971, is a British filmmaker known for his distinctive approach to science fiction. The son of legendary musician David Bowie and model Angela Barnett, Jones initially pursued a career in philosophy, earning a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
