Fahadh Faasil is an acclaimed Indian actor and producer, primarily known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Born on August 8, 1982, in Alappuzha, Kerala, he is the son of noted filmmaker Fazil. Fahadh made his acting debut at the age of 19 with the film Kaiyethum Doorath (2002), which was directed by his father, but the film was unsuccessful.
He took a break from acting to complete his studies and returned to the industry with a much-acclaimed performance in the anthology film Kerala Cafe (2009).
Fahadh’s breakthrough came with Chaappa Kurishu (2011), and he has since delivered powerful performances in films like 22 Female Kottayam (2012), Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016), Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum (2017), and Joji (2021).
