Greg Wise, born on 15 May 1966 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, is a British actor and producer renowned for his work in film, television, and theatre. Initially studying architecture at Heriot-Watt University, Wise transitioned to acting after performing at Edinburgh’s Bedlam Theatre and further honed his craft at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
He gained prominence portraying John Willoughby in the 1995 film Sense and Sensibility, where he met his future wife, actress Emma Thompson. The couple married in 2003 and have two children: daughter Gaia and adopted son Tindyebwa Agaba.
