Jason Patric (born John Anthony Miller III on June 17, 1966, in Queens, New York) is an American film, television, and stage actor celebrated for his intense, nuanced performances. Son of Pulitzer-winning playwright Jason Miller and actress Linda Miller, and grandson of legendary entertainer Jackie Gleason, he grew up in an artistic household that nurtured his talent.
He launched his screen career with the TV movie Toughlove (1985), followed by roles in Solarbabies and his breakout as Michael Emerson in the cult classic The Lost Boys (1987).
