John C. Reilly, born May 24, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actor, comedian, singer, and producer renowned for his versatility across drama, comedy, and music. He debuted in Brian De Palma’s Casualties of War (1989) and gained prominence through roles in Boogie Nights (1997), Magnolia (1999), and Chicago (2002), earning an Academy Award nomination for the latter.

Reilly’s comedic talents shone in Talladega Nights (2006), Step Brothers (2008), and as the voice of Ralph in Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph series. He also portrayed Oliver Hardy in Stan & Ollie (2018), receiving critical acclaim.
