Kenny G is an American saxophonist, born Kenneth Bruce Gorelick on June 5, 1956, in Seattle, Washington. He began playing the saxophone in his teens and went on to study at the University of Washington and later, the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Kenny G’s career took off in the 1980s with the release of his fourth album, “Duotones,” which included the hit single “Songbird.” He went on to become one of the best-selling instrumental musicians of all time, with over 75 million records sold worldwide.

Throughout his career, Kenny G has won multiple Grammy Awards and has collaborated with many famous musicians, including Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, and Andrea Bocelli. He is known for his smooth, melodic sound and his ability to blend elements of jazz, pop, and R&B into his music.
