Maya Rudolph

Maya Rudolph is an American actress, comedian, and singer. She was born on July 27, 1972, in Gainesville, Florida, but grew up in Los Angeles, California. Rudolph is the daughter of singer Minnie Riperton and composer Richard Rudolph. She attended the Crossroads School in Santa Monica and later graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography.

Rudolph is best known for her work on the sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live,” where she was a cast member from 2000 to 2007. She has also appeared in a number of films, including “Bridesmaids,” “The Way, Way Back,” “Sisters,” and “Wine Country.” Rudolph has received several awards for her work, including an Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of Kamala Harris on “Saturday Night Live” and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her voiceover work on the animated series “Big Mouth.”

Aside from her acting career, Rudolph is also a talented singer. She has performed as a vocalist with the band The Rentals and has also provided vocals for various other artists. Rudolph is married to filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, and the couple has four children together.
