Nick Nolte is an American actor and producer, born on February 8, 1941, in Omaha, Nebraska. He began his acting career in the late 1960s, appearing in a number of television shows, including “Gunsmoke” and “The Virginian.”
Nolte gained critical acclaim for his performances in films such as “The Deep,” “North Dallas Forty,” and “48 Hrs.” He received his first Academy Award nomination for his role in the 1991 film “The Prince of Tides,” and his second nomination for his work in the 1997 film “Affliction,” for which he won a Golden Globe Award.
