Steve Young (born October 11, 1961) is a former American professional football quarterback widely regarded as one of the NFL’s greatest players. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he played college football at Brigham Young University, where he became a standout quarterback.
Young began his professional career in the USFL before joining the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
