Tom Udall, born on May 18, 1948, in Tucson, Arizona, is an American politician and diplomat. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the U.S. Senator from New Mexico from 2009 to 2021. Prior to his Senate tenure, Udall was the U.S. Representative for New Mexico’s 3rd congressional district from 1999 to 2009.
