Keegan-Michael Key is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer, born on March 22, 1971, in Southfield, Michigan, USA.
Key first gained recognition for his comedic work on the sketch comedy series MADtv, which he was a cast member from 2004 to 2009. He later co-created and starred in the Comedy Central sketch series Key & Peele alongside his frequent collaborator Jordan Peele. The show won a Peabody Award and earned Key two Emmy nominations.
In addition to his television work, Key has appeared in numerous films such as Tomorrowland, Pitch Perfect 2, and The Predator. He also voiced characters in animated films such as Toy Story 4 and The Lion King (2019).
