Rani Mukerji made her acting debut in the Bengali film “Biyer Phool” in 1996. She then made her Bollywood debut in “Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat” in 1997. However, she gained recognition with her performance in the film “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998), which was a commercial success.
