Tony Shalhoub is an American actor, widely recognized for his versatile performances in television, film, and stage. Born on October 9, 1953, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Shalhoub grew up in a Lebanese-American family. He developed an interest in acting during his school years and later attended the University of Southern Maine, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in drama. Shalhoub further honed his craft by earning a master’s degree from the Yale School of Drama.
Shalhoub’s breakthrough came with his role as Antonio Scarpacci in the hit sitcom Wings (1991–1997).
